Description

Cooks Farmhouse is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed building featuring red brick infilling. The south half of the west front has been refaced and built out in red brick. The farmhouse stands two storeys tall beneath a hipped tiled roof, which is topped with a 17th century brick chimneystack. It has a mix of casement windows and sash windows with intact glazing bars, with two windows facing west and two facing north. An L-wing, added in the 18th century, is located to the east and consists of one window bay made of flint. The building has a simple doorcase.
