Description
Young's Farmhouse is a probable late medieval hall-house, shaped in an L-form. It was refaced in the 18th century with painted brick on the ground floor and tile hanging above. The building has two storeys and attics, topped by a steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof. On the west side, there are two windows and one dormer, while the north side features two additional windows. The first floor has horizontally-sliding sash windows, and the ground floor has ordinary sash windows with only the vertical glazing bars remaining intact. The entrance is marked by a simple doorcase.
