Description

Forge Cottage is a late 16th century timber-framed building that has been refaced with red brick on the ground floor and is hung with fishscale tiles above. It features a tiled roof and casement windows, along with a modern porch. The building stands two storeys high and has two windows. Adjoining to the south is the Forge, which has been rebuilt and is now entirely modern, previously part of the Old Smithy Post Office and General Stores.
