2. Late C16 timber-framed building refaced with red brick on ground floor and hung with fishscale tiles above. Tiled roof. Casement windows. Modern porch. Two storeys. Two windows. The Forge itself adjoining on the south has been rebuilt on the Old Smithy Post Office and General Stores and is wholly modern.
