Description

The barn at Coombe Farm is an early 18th-century structure. It is timber-framed and covered in weatherboarding, topped with a hipped tiled roof. The barn features five bays and has an aisle on the south side. The wall frame includes a midrail and diagonal braces, while the upright posts have jowls with an early 18th-century cut profile. The roof is supported by angled queen struts and staggered purlins. The west side wall was altered in the 19th century.
