Description

Knowles Tooth is a Grade II listed building, with its east wing dating from the 17th century or earlier. This timber-framed structure is now covered with fishscale tiles and features a steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof with a pentice on the west side. The building has two storeys and an attic, with three windows and three gabled dormers. The north-west wing was constructed in the early to mid-19th century and is two storeys tall with five windows. This part of the building is finished in stucco and includes a stringcourse, a hipped slate roof, sash windows on the first floor, and French windows on the ground floor, with intact glazing bars.
