Description

This large barn, located to the southwest of Poplars Place, dates from the 18th century and is currently used as a garage. It features a timber frame set on a brick plinth and has a tiled roof. The barn consists of three bays and includes one angled queen strut truss and one queen post truss. The roof structure has through purlins without a ridgepiece, and the wall frame incorporates a mid rail along with some diagonal braces.
