Description

The building known as the barn to the east of Poplars Place is an 18th-century structure that was originally used as a brewhouse or bakehouse. It features weatherboarded walls, a half-hipped tiled roof, and a brick chimney stack. Inside, there is a brick chimney breast with a wooden bressumer and bars for curing meats, along with a brick floor. The roof has an angled queen strut design with through purlins.
