Description

The dairy to the west of College Farmhouse was built between 1878 and 1881, designed by architect William Butterfield. It is an octagonal structure made of red brick and stone, topped with a polygonal tiled roof that features a weather-vane. Inside, the dairy is decorated with tiles in white, red, yellow, and grey, and includes stained glass windows. A central fountain made of grey and white marble adds to the interior's charm.
