Description

The Parish Church of St Giles is a Grade II* listed building located on Brighton Road in Shermanbury. The church features a chancel, a nave with a bell turret at the west end, and a west porch. It dates back to the 14th century but was largely rebuilt in 1710, with the nave being extended in 1885. The church retains its medieval fittings and includes 18th-century box-pews that have the names of the principal farmhouses in the parish painted on them.
