Description
The Needles and Netherledys is a 15th or 16th century timber-framed house that is very well preserved. It features plaster infilling, with part of the ground floor rebuilt in brick, and has a Horsham slab roof. The house is L-shaped, with the east front having a recessed center and two wings. The first floor of the wings projects at the ends of the floor joists. There are diagonal braces on the first floor of the north wing and curved braces supporting the eaves of the recess. Some of the infilling on this front is roughcast, and there are modern casement windows. The building has two storeys and four windows, and the west wing is likely a later addition.
