Description

Penfold is a timber-framed building dating from the 16th century or earlier. It has been refaced with stone rubble and features a datestone from 1566. The building stands two storeys high and has four windows. It has a tiled roof with a pentice at the back. The windows are casement style, and there are two buttresses on the ground floor. A chimney breast is located on the west wall, and there is a modern porch added to the entrance.
