The Old Cottage is a small, shaped timber-framed cottage dating from the 17th century or earlier, resembling the style of "the Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe." It features plaster and red brick infilling and has a thatched roof. The cottage is two storeys high and has one window. A modern porch has been added to the building.
