Description

This is a row of cottages located on The Street. The buildings date back to the 16th century, with brick elevations added in the 18th century and alterations to the front in the 19th century. The construction is timber-framed and brick, featuring gauged brick window heads on the ground floor. The roof is tiled, with ridge stacks at the centre and ends. The cottages have two storeys and an irregular four-window front with casement windows. There are three boarded doors: one to the right of the left-hand window, and two in the centre of the row. The interior shows evidence of the original timber frame, including a side purlin queen-post roof.
