Description

Merston House is a house dating to circa 1830. It is a two-storey building with three windows facing south. The south front is of painted brick with roughcast sections. A string course runs along the front, and there is an eaves cornice. The roof is hipped and covered with slate, with intact glazing bars in the windows. A veranda runs along the ground floor, featuring wooden columns and a glass roof, although part of the roof has been replaced with modern tiles. A glass conservatory is situated at the south-west corner of the building.
