Description

The Church of St Giles in Merston is a 13th-century building faced with roughcast. It is a small structure, similar in size to a chapel, featuring a chancel and nave that are not divided, a north aisle, a south porch, and a bell-arch at the west end of the nave. Inside, there is a trefoil-headed piscina and a 13th-century font. This charming medieval church has seen minimal restoration.
