Description

This is a mid-19th century grouping of three cottages located on Oving High Street. It consists of two semi-detached pairs of cottages separated by a single cottage. Each cottage is two storeys high with an attic in the gable ends, and generally features a single window. The walls are faced with flints and have red brick dressings, quoins, an eaves cornice featuring cogging, and dripstones above the windows. The roofs are tiled. The majority of the windows are casement windows with latticed panes, with the exception of those in numbers 4 and 5. The central cottage, number 3, is positioned endwise to the road, presenting a gable end to the street. The building is included on the list for its group value.
