Description

Three barns, now known as the Tithe Barn, Coach House, and Carter’s Barn, are located at Chidham Manor Farm, to the west of the Manor House. Dating to the 18th century, two of the barns run parallel to the road and flank the entrance drive to the Manor House, while the third barn forms an “L” shape to the northeast of the southern barn. The barns are faced with flint, with a horizontal strip of red brick at the top. They have hipped tiled roofs. The barns are included in the list for their group value.
