Description

Middleton House, built in 1759, is a two-storey building with a semi-basement. It features five windows and is constructed with grey headers and red brick dressings, including quoins, panels below the windows, a string course, and a modillion eaves cornice. The roof is tiled, and the windows have segmental heads with intact glazing bars. At the front, there is a portico supported by fluted Tuscan columns, leading to a doorway at the top of five steps. The doorway has a semi-circular fanlight with Chinese Chippendale tracery and a door made up of six fielded and moulded panels.
