Description
Hollywood House, also known as Oldlands House, dates from around 1800 and was enlarged in 1901. This two-storey building features ashlar render and a hipped slate roof. It has four large windows with glazing bars. A six-panel door is located beneath the second window, flanked by slender pilasters and enclosed in a trelliswork porch. The rear part of the house is now a separate dwelling known as Oddlands House. A massive chimney at the rear likely originates from a house built before the 18th century. Inside, there is a simple contemporary staircase and chimney-pieces, along with kitchen cupboards designed by Voysey. Hollywood House, Oldlands House, Nan's Cottage and Wall, and Clematis Cottage and Wall form a group.
