Description
Littlecourt is a house built in 1902 by C.A. Voysey, located on Old Woking Road in the Borough of Woking. The building features roughcast walls with stone dressings and a large hipped roof covered in plain tiles, which has roughcast ridge stacks positioned at the left end, right of center, and at the rear. It stands two storeys tall and has a drip moulding across the ground floor. The windows are stone dressed mullion and transom leaded casements throughout.
The front of the house is asymmetrical, highlighted by a projecting gabled bay on the right that has battered buttresses and a large window. To the left, there is a range with six windows on the first floor, including a staircase window to the left of center and a circular window above the door. The entrance features a half-glazed door set in an arched porch recess between the buttresses, with a projecting arched hood supported by corbels above. There is a single-storey kitchen at the right end, which has a service court at the rear. The rear elevation includes a plank and part-glazed door to the right, also in a similar porch recess.
Inside, the house has stone flooring and stripped panelling throughout. The staircase on the left is of the square newel type with thin planking. Original door furniture and bird and flower ventilation grilles are still present.
