Description

Ramwick Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with significant extensions made later. It has a timber frame construction set upon a brick plinth, with a rendered exterior and a plain tile roof, featuring a ridge stack on the left side. The house is two storeys high, with a rendered band above the ground floor on the left. It has diamond-pattern leaded casement windows, four across the first floor. A part-glazed door is located on the right, sheltered by a gabled porch hood supported by wood. The door and the first-floor window to the right are 19th-century additions. The left return front displays exposed timber framing, while 20th-century extensions are visible at the rear.

Inside, the timber frame is visible, and there is a deep brick fireplace with a wood lintel.
