Description
Hindhead Lodge is a small square house, likely built in the 18th century, featuring a near-pyramidal roof and a central chimney. The building has two storeys and four irregularly placed windows on the entrance front, with two additional windows on the other sides. It is constructed from coursed marlstone rubble, accented with freestone quoins and window dressings. The windows are primarily 19th century and later sliding sashes with bars, most of which are segment-headed. There are two doors: one on the left that is half-glazed, and one on the right that consists of six panels set in a pedimented wooden doorcase with fluted pilasters. At the back, there is a loggia featuring a hipped pent roof covered with slates, supported by wooden posts, and two bay windows extend out beneath it.
