Description

The building is a dovecot, now used as a summerhouse, dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of sandstone rubble with some areas of mortar rendering. The roof is hipped, pyramidal, and covered with plain tiles, featuring a wooden louvred lantern at the top. The structure has a square plan and includes a buttress at the northeast corner. On the east side of the roof, there are gabled nesting boxes, and access to these is provided by a door located six steps below. At the rear, there are tile-on-edge square piers with sliding glazed doors in the center. The nesting boxes have been removed.
