Description
Selhurst is a house dating from the 16th century, with a 17th-century cross wing. It is timber framed and has a red brick underbuilding, with brick infill in a square frame of thin scantling above, which was once colourwashed but is now worn away. The first floor on the left is tile hung, featuring some patterned tiles, and the house has a plain tiled roof that is hipped to the left. The building has a T-shaped plan with a gabled cross wing on the right. It stands two storeys high and features a fine multiple stack chimney at the front right of centre, with another stack at the rear left. The windows are leaded casements, with five on the first floor left and three on the ground floor. There is one window on each floor of the cross wing. To the right of centre, there is a ribbed door beneath a flat hood, and a wing extends to the rear left.
