Description

Goose Green Farm House is a building with a possible origin as a hall, dating back to the 15th century. It has been altered and extended in the 16th and 20th centuries. The house is timber-framed, with brick infilling and brick extensions on the left side. The roof is plain tiled, with hipped sections and gablets. The projecting range to the left of the centre has a hipped roof and three casement windows on the first floor, with two windows below. To the left, there is one window per floor. The right side has two arched lancet windows, and then three further windows on the first floor. An arched, panelled door is located to the right of the centre, set within a gabled 20th-century porch. A square stack rises from the ridge on the right side of the centre, with further stacks at the rear.
