Description

Butcherhouse Farm House is a house dating from the late 16th or early 17th century. It is timber framed with brick and rendered infill to the ends, and a central section clad in red and brown brick. The roof is tiled, with a hipped end to the right, featuring a gablet. The house is two storeys high, with a ridge stack located at the left end. It has two first-floor casement windows, and two windows on the ground floor; one is situated beneath a cambered head, and the other beneath a gabled hood on braces. A single-storey, gabled extension is attached to the right end. A door is located at the rear, within the angle of the house and extension. Curved bracing is visible at the ends. A pentice runs across the rear.
