Description

Wheeler's Farm House is a house dating from the 16th century, with a 19th-century extension at the rear. It features a timber frame with whitewashed brick and rubble infill, topped by a plain tiled roof that is hipped to the left. The rear is constructed of sandstone rubble with brick dressings. The house stands two storeys high, with an end stack on the right and a ridge stack on the left, as well as end stacks on the rear range. It has four framed bays, with three braces visible on the first floor. The first floor includes three leaded casement windows, while the ground floor has two windows. A central door is set within a gabled porch supported by wooden posts, with sandstone plinth walls.
