Description

The Garden Pavilion, located 40 yards to the rear of The Hawthorns, is a late 17th-century structure. It is built from red and brown brick and features a hipped pyramidal roof covered with plain tiles, topped by a metal weathervane. The pavilion is square and two stories high, showcasing an entablature and eaves with dentils on the angle piers, which have moulded brick capitals. There is a camber-headed opening at the center of the east side and a window on the north side. Inside, there is a dilapidated staircase. The pavilion is noted to be in a dilapidated condition at the time of re-survey.
