Description

The Kelsey Tomb, located 4 yards east of the east end of the Church of St. George in Crowhurst, is a chest tomb dedicated to Sarah Kelsey, who died around 1850. It is made of stone and features fielded panels on its sides, fluted angle piers, and a flat lid with a moulded edge. The tomb is surrounded by a railed iron fence that includes urn finials at both ends and in the center of the railings.
