Description
This building is a barn, now converted into a house, located 20 yards from Lullenden Manor House. It dates back to the 15th century and was converted in the 20th century. The structure is timber framed and sits on a stone plinth, with stone and render infill at the bottom and weatherboarded cladding on the outer bays. It has a steeply pitched hipped roof covered with concrete tiles, featuring a gablet at the left end. The barn is rectangular, two storeys high, and consists of three framed bays with irregular window placements.
On the first floor, there are four three-light leaded casement windows, while the ground floor has six windows, including one notable eight-light mullioned and transomed diamond pane window that extends through one and a half storeys to the left of centre. There is a planked door at the right end and pent-roofed extensions at the left end. The rear of the building features two eaves dormers and irregular fenestration below, with a glazed door to the right of centre and a planked door to the left.
Inside, the barn boasts massive beams and a crown post roof.
