Description
Frith Manor is a house dating from the early 17th century, restored in 1930 and renovated in the 1970s. It features a timber frame with a stone plinth on the right, red brick with blue brick headers below, and tile hanging above. The roof is plain tiled, hipped to the left, with a tall triple ridge stack in the center and an end stack on the left. The building has two storeys over a basement on the left, with an attic under three hipped roofs, and diamond pane leaded casement dormers; there are two 3-light dormers to the right and one 2-light dormer to the left of center. A brick dentil band runs above the ground floor. The windows are regularly arranged, with three 4-light diamond pane leaded casement windows on the first floor and square leading on the ground floor. There is a panelled door at the center. The left-hand return front shows square panel framing with exposed brick infill. A 20th-century brick pent roof extension is located at the rear, featuring a gabled porch to the rear left. Additionally, there is a single-storey garage wing with a throughway at right angles to the rear left. Inside, the framing is visible in the partition walls and ceiling frames.
