Description
The City Post, located 200 yards north of Chertsey Lock on Chertsey Bridge Road, was built in 1861. It is made of cast iron and features a square shape with chamfered corners. The post has a cornice and capping, and displays a city shield on its west face, along with a legend referencing the Act of Parliament below.
