Description
Church Farmhouse is a 17th-century building with a likely early 18th-century facade and later alterations. It is two storeys and has an attic, with dormers lighting the rear slope. The farmhouse is constructed of red brick with a hipped tile roof and a central chimney. It features five windows, with flush-framed glazing bar sashes, some of which contain 20 panes of glass. A tower porch with a hipped roof and oval side windows on the ground floor is situated to the right of the center. The entrance is via a six-panel moulded and fielded door, the upper panels being glazed, sheltered by a later hood supported by brackets. A brick string course runs along the first floor. Inside, a baffle entry leads to a back-to-back fireplace, with stairs leading to the other side of the room.
