Description
Old Farm Riverside is a building that underwent early 19th-century remodelling, although its core likely dates back to the early 18th century. It is two storeys tall, constructed of painted brick with an old tile roof. The Old Farm section features a moulded wooden eaves cornice. The building has a symmetrical arrangement of three by three windows, which are sashes with vertical glazing bars. The entrance includes a three-panelled door topped with bracket hoods. The right gable end has a coped verge and retains some burnt headers. The rear of Old Farm displays a mid-19th-century parapet front. Inside, there are several older features, with the most notable being an ornamental looking glass and a matching fireplace on the first floor, possibly inspired by Dial House on Shepperton Road. The first-floor east room is panelled in a style from the circa 1770s, and the door below the first-floor landing features a Chinese Chippendale pattern.
