Description

Goose Green House is a 17th-century house located on Thorpe Clockhouse Lane. It has a tile-hung first floor and painted, rendered gable ends. The west crosswing features an exposed timber frame with white painted panels, similarly visible on the east ground floor. The roof is tiled and gabled, with a double pitch. Large stacks are present at each end of the rear roof. The house is two storeys with a rectangular plan, and includes a west crosswing extending northwards and a single-storey lean-to on the east. Most windows are three-light casements. A large dormer window, incorporating a stack positioned centrally between two casements, is visible on the west end, set within a catslide roof.
