Description

This is a pair of houses built in the early 18th century in Chertsey. They are constructed of red brick, with the ground floor of the left-hand house painted. A prominent plat band runs above the first floor. The roof is tiled, with gable parapets and an end stack on the right. The houses are three storeys high and have a symmetrical facade featuring four windows. The central windows are paired above the doorways, and the doorways are blocked. Segment-headed openings are visible on the first floor. The right-hand house (number 19) retains its original sash windows with glazing bars, while the left-hand house (number 17) has modern metal casements. The front doors are paired panel doors with a hood above. A two-storey hipped roof extension projects from the rear.
