Description

Wray Park Lodge is a mid-19th century L-shaped, one-storey building that has undergone some alterations. It is constructed from coursed chalk blocks and features a low-pitched slated roof with bracketed gable ends and eaves soffit. The front facing the road has plain casements and an added glazed room in the angle. The head of the original doorway can still be seen, showcasing cut voussoirs, a keystone, and a shouldered surround. There are further extensions to the right of the building. Wray Park Lodge is included in the group value context with Nos 51, 53, 55, No 59, and the Entrance Gateway to the south of No 59.
