Description
Little Finches is a 17th-century house with an exposed timber frame and whitewashed rendered infill. The return fronts are tile hung on the first floor, and it has a plain tiled roof with two mortar rendered diagonal stacks positioned to the right of center. The house is two storeys high and consists of four framed bays, featuring four 20th-century diamond pane leaded casement windows across the first floor. There is a panelled door located to the right of center, which is sheltered by a gabled porch hood supported by thin wooden posts with brick pedestals. At the rear, there is a lower wing that extends at right angles. Inside, the house includes a deep brick fireplace with a moulded wooden lintel and chamfered ceiling beams.
