Description
Mark Cottage is a cottage that dates back to the 17th century, with extensions and re-cladding added in the 18th and 19th centuries. The front is covered in red, brown, and blue brick, and it has a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys, with a stack situated to the right of the center, as well as end stacks and kneelers on the roof.
On the first floor, there are three two-light leaded windows with shutters. To the left on the ground floor, there is an oval keyed window, while to the right, there is an arched and shuttered casement window with tracery. There is a blocked door to the right featuring a depressed arched head, keystone, and impost blocks. In the center, there is a block-rusticated blocked door with voussoirs and a keystone. The current door is located on the left-hand return front and is ribbed and part-glazed. At the rear, there is a pentice.
