Description

The gate piers to Leith Hill Place date from around 1760 or later. They are constructed from snecked sandstone blocks and feature ashlar capitals topped with stone sphere finials, which have a vermiculated block at the center of each finial. The piers are square in plan and stand approximately 8½ feet high.
