Description

58-61 West Street is a 17th century building range that stands three storeys tall with an attic, featuring seven windows. The structure has four tile-hung gables, each with an attic window. It is constructed of red brick, which was once painted. The building has a dentilled brick cornice above the first floor and a modillion cornice above the second. The roofs are tiled. There are two original casement windows with moulded architrave surrounds, while the other windows consist of modern shop fronts. This range is noted as the finest group of buildings on West Street.
