Description

This is a timber-framed building, now comprising two shops with residential accommodation above. It was refaced in the early 19th century. The building is three storeys high and has three windows. The facade is clad in red mathematical tiles, punctuated by three gables featuring fretted bargeboards. It has a tiled roof. Modern shop fronts are present, alongside sash windows on the first floor retaining their glazing bars, and casement windows on the second floor. The building is documented with a photograph held by the National Monuments Record. It forms a group with numbers 40 to 64 on the same side of the street.
