Description

Lesley House is a house built in 1838, designed in the Tudor style. It has two storeys and features five windows. The front is finished in stucco with a slate roof and a string course. The Gothicised sash windows have dripstones above them and retain their glazing bars. The western half of the house is accented by pentagonal buttresses that terminate in pointed finials, with a central chimney and gables on either side. The eastern half includes an eaves cornice, a pentagonal buttress at its eastern corner, and an obtusely-pointed doorway with a fanlight of the same shape, also featuring a dripstone above and a Tudor Gothic door. The date 1838 is marked on the north side of the house.
