Description

Stoke Park Farm House is a house dating from the 17th century, with extensions and alterations made in the 19th century. The house is timber-framed and has brick infilling on the rear right-hand wing, while the rest is clad with brick on the ground floor and alternate bands of plain and fishscale pattern tile hanging. It has plain tiled roofs. Originally built in a T-shape, with a cross wing to the right, it has since been extended to both ends and to the rear. The house is two storeys high and features triple stacks to the left of centre, with further stacks at the ends. The windows are 19th-century casements, with three windows on each floor to the left, one window on each floor to the right, and one ground-floor window under a relieving arch. A ribbed door is located to the right of centre, sheltered by a flat hood on braces. Inside, the ground floor to the left has chamfered spine beams, with the frame exposed on the ground floor.
