Description
Burpham Court Cottages are two cottages dating from the early 17th century, with 19th-century extensions on the right end. The cottages have a timber-framed structure on a rendered plinth, with exposed brick infill, and red brick extensions to the right. The roof is plain tiled, hipped to the right and over the extension. The buildings are two storeys high and consist of three framed bays, with the extension projecting at the front right. There is a front ridge stack on the left and an end stack on the right.
On the first floor, there are three casement windows on the centre left, one larger casement window to the right of centre, and one three-light cambered head casement window on the far right. The ground floor features three casement windows, along with one single arched casement window to the right. There is a single-storey, low-pitched gable extension projecting to the left, which has a 20th-century planked door beneath a pentice drip course (No. 2). Additionally, there is a further door on the right-hand return front (No. 1).
