Description

The entrance walls and gates to the Hospital of the Blessed Holy Trinity, formerly known as Abbot's Hospital, date from the 18th century. They feature rendered brick plinth walls topped with a stone balustrade and an iron arch at the center. The turned balustrades are attached to the end gables of the Hospital building and flank a central arched overthrow, which is supported by taller piers that hold a domed lantern.
