Description
The Old Post Cottage is a house with a 17th-century core, remodelled in the early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with a hipped roof covered in plain tiles. The building has two storeys, marked by a plat band above the ground floor, and features a moulded, gauged-brick eaves cornice. Chimneys are located at both ends and are set off to one side. The front elevation is regular, with two three-light casement windows on each floor, each with a gauged brick head. A central six-panel door is sheltered by a flat hood. The property is included in the listing for its group value.
