Description
This pavilion, built around 1860 in the Lovelace style, is located 100 yards northwest of the Cloisters of Horsley Towers. It is constructed from flint rubble with brick and tile dressings and features a cement-rendered finish. The structure has an egg-shaped dome on top and a square basement plinth with a circular pavilion above. Decorative brick pattern bands adorn the plinth, and the dome has machicolated brick eaves. The pavilion includes eight pointed arched openings with brick-edged surrounds, supported by short red pillars. There is an arched entrance on the south side of the pavilion. The walls that were formerly attached to the pavilion have been demolished.
