Description

Oak Farmhouse is an 18th-century house. It has a timber-frame core, which has been clad in galleted sandstone with brick dressings. The roof is covered in plain tiles. The house has a plinth, a plat band above the ground floor, and end stacks. The first floor features three 20th-century leaded casement windows, while two similar windows are located below, each with a gauged brick head. A central ribbed door is protected by a brick, stone, and tile hipped roof porch with a cambered head. A single-storey hipped roof extension projects at right angles from the rear. Internally, some exposed ceiling and wall framing of thin scantling remains.
