Description
The churchyard walls to the south of St. Martin's Church were built in the mid-19th century in the Lovelace Style. They feature a brick and tile plinth with rubblestone above, adorned with brick and terracotta dressings. The top of the walls has a D-shaped coping. The walls are arranged in a rectangular plan and have entrances on the north and east sides. There is an oval, tile-dressed pattern band on both the north and east sides. The south wall is machicolated, with tile edge decoration placed on brick corbels. These walls are included for their group value.
